Las Vegas Strip Gaming Revenue 2005
The Las Vegas Strip produced $6.04 billion in gaming win during 2005. That's up 13.2 percent on 2004, a gain of $702.1 million.
That's the largest of Nevada's ten reported sub-areas, and 51.8% of the statewide total. Slot machines produced 52.6% of that, with table, counter and card games taking 47.4%. Slot machines gained the most in dollar terms, adding $308.7 million, while Caribbean Stud gave back $4.88 million.

About Las Vegas Strip
The Las Vegas Strip is the largest single gaming market in the United States, and on its own it usually produces a little under half of all Nevada gaming revenue. Destination visitation drives the results, which makes the Strip far more sensitive to the calendar than Nevada's locals markets: move a big convention or a fight weekend into a different month and the monthly line moves with it. The Control Board began reporting the Strip as its own area in 2018, so for earlier Las Vegas figures you want Clark County.
