About NV Gaming API
NV Gaming API transforms Nevada's official Gaming Revenue Information (GRI) PDF reports into clean, structured data that's ready for analysis and integration.
The Problem
The Nevada Gaming Control Board publishes detailed revenue data for every game category across every region in the state — but only as PDF documents. Extracting useful data from these PDFs is tedious, error-prone, and time-consuming. Analysts, researchers, and businesses waste hours manually copying data from PDFs into spreadsheets.
Our Solution
We built a fully automated pipeline that monitors the Gaming Control Board's website, downloads new reports, extracts every data point, validates it for accuracy, and serves it through a clean API. What used to take hours of manual work is now available instantly.
How It Works
PDF Reports Published
The Nevada Gaming Control Board publishes monthly GRI reports as PDFs on their website.
Automated Extraction
Our pipeline detects new PDFs, downloads them, and extracts structured data using pattern matching and validation.
Clean, Validated Data
Extracted records pass quality checks, get structured into JSON, and are stored for instant access.
API & Downloads
Access data through our web explorer, REST API, or CSV downloads — updated within hours of publication.
