Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NV Gaming API ("the Service"), operated by NV Gaming API ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

NV Gaming API provides structured data extracted from publicly available Gaming Revenue Information (GRI) reports published by the Nevada Gaming Control Board. The Service includes a web-based data explorer, downloadable CSV exports, and a REST API for programmatic access.

3. No Affiliation with the Nevada Gaming Control Board

NV Gaming API is an independent, third-party service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to the Nevada Gaming Control Board, the State of Nevada, or any government agency. The Nevada Gaming Control Board does not participate in, review, approve, or have any responsibility for the data, services, or content provided by NV Gaming API.

All data is derived from publicly available documents. Any trademarks, service marks, or trade names referenced belong to their respective owners.

4. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

The data provided through the Service is extracted from PDF documents using automated processes. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of any data provided through the Service. Data may contain errors introduced during extraction, processing, or transformation.

You should independently verify any data obtained through the Service before relying on it for any purpose. The original GRI reports published by the Nevada Gaming Control Board remain the authoritative source for Nevada gaming revenue data.

5. Permitted Use

You may use the Service and its data for:

  • Personal research and analysis
  • Internal business intelligence and reporting
  • Academic and educational purposes
  • Building applications that display or analyze the data, provided you attribute NV Gaming API as the source

6. Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the data obtained through the Service, whether in raw, modified, or aggregated form, as a standalone data product or feed
  • Misrepresent the data as official government data or imply any endorsement by the Nevada Gaming Control Board
  • Use the Service to compete directly with NV Gaming API by creating a substantially similar data product or service
  • Attempt to circumvent access controls, rate limits, or subscription tiers
  • Use automated means to scrape or bulk-download data beyond what is permitted by your subscription tier and API rate limits
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws

7. Accounts and Subscriptions

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are available within the first 7 days of a new subscription.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NV GAMING API AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

You expressly acknowledge and agree that you assume all risk associated with your use of the data provided through the Service. Without limiting the foregoing:

  • We are not responsible for any business decisions made based on data obtained through the Service
  • We are not responsible for any financial losses, trading losses, or investment losses resulting from reliance on the data
  • We are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the data
  • We provide no recourse, compensation, or remedy for any damages, losses, or adverse outcomes that arise from your use of the data, regardless of cause

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL DATA ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NV Gaming API and its owners, operators, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Service Availability

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and documentation, is owned by NV Gaming API. The underlying gaming revenue data is derived from public government records. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the data in accordance with these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
