Gaming win in Clark County reached $9.72 billion in 2005. Compared with 2004, win rose 11.6 percent, or $1.01 billion.
That's the largest of Nevada's ten county-level markets, and 83.4% of the statewide total. Machines accounted for 64.4% of win; tables, counters and card games made up 35.6%. Slot machines gained the most in dollar terms, adding $587.1 million, while Caribbean Stud gave back $6.35 million.

About Clark County
Clark County contains the Las Vegas Strip, downtown Las Vegas, Laughlin, Mesquite, and the Boulder Strip, and it produces the large majority of Nevada's gaming revenue. County-level reporting runs without a break from January 2004, which makes this the longest usable series for the Las Vegas market; the separate Strip and downtown figures don't start until 2018.
