Gaming win in Washoe County reached $809.7 million in 2016. Compared with 2015, win rose 4.3 percent, or $33.1 million.
That ranks 2nd among Nevada's ten county-level markets, and works out to 7.2% of the statewide total. The split runs 81.1% to slot machines and 18.9% to table, counter and card games. Slot machines gained the most in dollar terms, adding $33.3 million, while Sports Pool gave back $4.02 million.

About Washoe County
Washoe County covers the Reno and Sparks markets along with the north shore of Lake Tahoe. It is Nevada's second gaming market by revenue and behaves differently from Clark County: a larger share of play comes from regional drive-in visitors and locals, which shows up as milder seasonality and a different mix of slots to table games.
