Washoe County casinos won $1.07 billion in 2006. Compared with 2005, win rose 1.8 percent, or $18.6 million.
Among the ten county-level markets it places 2nd, contributing 8.5% of statewide win. Slot machines produced 78.2% of that, with table, counter and card games taking 21.8%. The largest gain came from slot machines at $27.3 million; the largest decline was blackjack, down $9.26 million.

About Washoe County
Washoe County covers the Reno and Sparks markets along with the north shore of Lake Tahoe. It is Nevada's second gaming market by revenue and behaves differently from Clark County: a larger share of play comes from regional drive-in visitors and locals, which shows up as milder seasonality and a different mix of slots to table games.
