Downtown Las Vegas casinos won $511.4 million in 2014. Compared with 2013, win rose 2.1 percent, or $10.5 million.
That ranks 4th among Nevada's ten reported sub-areas, and works out to 4.6% of the statewide total. The split runs 72.2% to slot machines and 27.8% to table, counter and card games. Sports Pool gained the most in dollar terms, adding $5.70 million, while slot machines gave back $938,000.

Downtown Las Vegas covers the Fremont Street casinos north of the Strip. It runs a materially different business: lower table minimums, a higher slot share, and a mix of tourists and locals that makes it less exposed to the convention calendar than the Strip. Separate reporting begins in 2018.
